Sign up to volunteer at the South Minneapolis Habitat for Humanity Restore on March 7th from 4pm-6pm during AmeriCorps week! There are 10-13 volunteer spots so grab a friend and volunteer!
Volunteers will play a direct role in creating a clean and organized atmosphere for customers and a friendly & efficient donation drop off experience for donors. The profits from the sale of items at the ReStore will go directly back into the community by enabling TCHFH to build more homes and serve more families. A little service, a little giving, a lot of fun – this event has something for everyone! It’s all happening at Sweeny’s in St.Paul on March 9th.
Bring a canned food donation with you when you arrive to donate to Keystone Community Services. Grab a bite to eat and settle in for some crafting as we make birthday cards for residents of Our Saviour’s Housing. Then get ready for some serious competition as trivia kicks off at 6:00. Join us for part of all of the night and enjoy some time with your fellow Americorps members while also giving back to your community in a fun way. RSVP Here!
Wrap up AmeriCorps week service by helping build a home with Habitat for Humanity! Volunteers are needed to help with a construction project at 1316 Mississippi St in St. Paul on Saturday,March 11th from 8:30AM-4PM.
Volunteers are needed! Drinking water will be available, but bring your own meal and snacks. Other requirements are closed toe and heel shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and a good attitude! No building experience needed, just a willingness to learn. Tools and building materials will be provided.
